If Rosberg went to McLaren Lewis couldn't be happier.
Nico and him are very firm freinds.
It will be a new experience for him, not having a team mate who's either baggage, or reticent.
They would make a strong team.
Nico's got to make the next step, winning a race.
Just like Mika, his first win out of the way would release that locked potential.
No doubt his father still has strong connections with Ron.
Smart move for all if it happens.

His Dad is Finnish, Nico was raised in Germany and is considered to be German.

Slightly bizarrely, knowing his paternal roots, Finnish is just about the only European language Nico Rosberg can't speak fluently!
