Race car drink system

I used to specify the driver drinks system when I was at Williams. It was simply a surgical drip bag, some washer jet tube and a Rover 600 washer pump. It was simply binned after each event.
God forbid you tried that with a BMW washer system, poor bloke would need dentures after it blew his teeth out

Get a camelback liner and hang it from the cage. Worked very well for us in the Britcar 24hr race.
That's exactly what I use. Takes a bit of getting used to, particularly if you're a sprint racer, but it works fine.only issue I had with it is what to do with the tube when your not drinking, the solution was velcro so I could put it somewhere and know where it was (harder than you think in the dark!)

Funnily that reminds me of a story at Williams when a rental car's electrics were significantly altered. One of Piquet's practical jokes, IIRC.... Scuffers said:

I suspect that wouldn't be ideal for endurance as it's not particularly comfortable for half an hour. That, and I'm frightened that if the wind blows my face will get stuck in the 'drinking pipe retrieval' position.
