Simple - F1 does not need a 40 year old has-been who obviously has physical issues and i wish some people would get over it.The rose tinted views on him are as if he left F1 undefeated - He didnt, he lost and the chances of him being to the standard he was when he lost may i add are very unlikely.

The chances of Alonso and Schumacher at Ferrari next year are as likely as Alonso back at Mclaren. Its nonsense, and the Ferrari fan boys need to get over it.

I suggest you look back at Schumachers Brazil 2006 drive and compare that to LH's drive in Germany this year, both drives suffering from punctures and effectively starting from the back of the pack, but only one of these two drivers alluded to wanting to retire the car to 'save the engine'........ yeah right .

No rose tinted glasses, fact are facts, MS won seven races in his last season, obviously he was past it, how many did Lewis win last year??

I don't think anyone is suggesting he left defeated, you don't need rose tinted specs to see that he left F1 one of the most successful drivers of all time, in almost every aspect of the sport.

Just using LH as an example, as it is the most recent one I can recall, of a top flight driver having a puncture during a race and finishing nowwhere, MS finished 4th in Brazil 2006 under similar cirumstances in case you need reminding.
