I was a bit disappointed last year that he didn't open the taps a little bit. I wasn't expecting lap record pace, but would've been nice if he'd tried a little bit...

Will be good to see him out. We have tickets and hotel booked for this again - good day out and feels like a bit of the spirit of the old Class 1 DTM is still there.

When I first saw this thread I assumed that he would be driving his usual wheels but I guess noise restrictions put the tin hat on that.

There is an exception for demonstrations on non-standard tyres.

He could just drive last year's car. To be honest the demo at Brands DTM last year was hardly something to make the hairs on the back of your neck stand on end. You'd be better off seeing the BOSS Formula on the MGOC meeting there if you want to see a GP car on the limit around the Indy Circuit. Nice to get chance to wish the lad well though - at least he seems to actually enjoy doing these events, rather than it being a corporate chore as it seems for some.

Totally agree. Last year's demo was pretty boring whilst the MGOC meeting was the best day of the year - awesome stuff from the two Benettons in particular

So there will be no photographists then.. Bummer, sounds like an ideal photo/publicity shoot to me. you would think there is a way round it
