Spa GP - Yellow parking pass... best way in?

Hi

Looking at the map the organisers have suggested I leave the E42 at J10b, but looking at the route in from where I am staying (Hamoir), I'll have to go past Spa just to get to the E42.

Has anyone made this journey in before, and if so which way would you suggest I go in? It looks like if I go through Spa towards the circuit I'll come out in Francorchamps (i.e. right next to the circuit) - I expect this will be the most packed route in?

Finally, I can't seem to find J10b on Google Maps... is it an old map or do they open it specifically for the GP?

Hello,

I suggest you follow the instructions. There are loads of little roads that look tempting but will probably be blocked/barriered.

E42 J10b is temporary. If you look on Google maps satellite view you'll see a parking/rest area 3km after/south J10. They will be taking cars off here for the yellow car park. BTW don't search for Cromchamps they spelt it wrong, it's cronchamps. Near the rest area you'll see Route de Cronchamps.

I'll be there on Sat and Sun, in the Silver 2 grandstand.
