Problems recording F1

It might be pure coincidence but twice when I've been unable to watch F1 live the recordings have had no sound. No other programs have been affected just BBC- F1.
I'm sure there must be something wrong with my HD recorder but has Bernie put some kind of encryption on the broadcasts so you can't record it? Its not the same without the sound!

I've not watched one race live this year. Series linked and they've all recorded fine - qually too.

BBC Iplayer, superb- allows me to skip all the preamble and anything EJ says :-)
