Congratulation to Luc Alphand Aventures who won the GT1 manufacturers title for Corvette and two of their drivers shared the drivers title too.

Doug can you describe what you saw, please.I listened to the race on Radio LeMans and Hindy was very forthright in his views on Ragues.
But he didn't see the after the flag incident.
But the Signature Plus car did not get a penalty for the Hanger incident and they have been involved in a few incidents this year.

The incident happened like this.
The Speedy Racing Sebah #33 crossed the line to win LM P2. Not sure who was on board, Kane, Leuenberger or Pompidou. His pit was after the finish line and the mechanics had climbed the fence to wave him through. As per the norm, he slowed to pass and wave. In fact he slowed down a lot. I was expecting some sort of rolling burnout but he actually stopped, popped the door and started gesturing to the team. Punching the air etc. He was stationary for at least 10 seconds. The nearest flag marshal was on the secondary chequer and was looking towards the oncoming traffic.
Ragues crossed the line and did the usual move across to the pitlane to wave to his team. I think their pit box was about 5 or 6 before the Sebah pit. He didn't slow anywhere near as much and passed his guys, revving and waving, obviously looking at them as he passed. He saw the stationary Sebah car far too late - I reckon he was travelling at around 60 - 70mph, swerved hard left and missed hitting it square on but caught his rear right wheel and side on the Lola's rear left quarter. It removed most of the rear right of the Signature car and made a right old mess of the Lola.
My friend caught it in a photo as he was waiting for the expected burnout from the Sebah car. If he sends it (or if you're reading this Andy!) I'll post it up.

I forgot to take my AM radio, so missed the RadioLM commentary
But a good weekend had, an exccelent 3 days but was both a shame and a blessing Sunday was much cooler than the previous 2 days.
What i find stagering is that the were only 5 non finishers, makes a good change.
Does anyone know when/if Eurosport will be reshowing the race/highlights as the box failed to record other than the start

How many times have you seen drivers slow to wave/acknowledge their team? As the Sebah boys have done Every race this year?and would that still "teach him" had he have had a mechanical failure and Had to stop? Is STILL the fault of the driver hitting him that caused the incident.

1. He didn't slow and wave, he stopped dead, for a long time, on the line that everyone was taking along the pitwall.
2. If he had a mechanical failure he would move off line, to the outside of the track and onto the grass and would more than likely exhibit signs that there was a problem thus prompting the nearest marshal to wave the yellows rather than continue with the secondary chequers.

Surely at the finish of the race other drivers should slow after the line and at least consider the possibility that there may be slow, or even stationary, traffic on the circuit.
Ragues should have seen the Speedy cars location on the track from a ways back and not put his car in a situation where what did happen could happen (in my view and I was only watching the coverage/listening to Hindy, so take it as you will).
It has to be said though that Ragues (and indeed Mailleux) hasn't covered himself in glory all season.
Still, all made for a most entertaining race.

We know that in ALL race series cars pull over to the pit wall to wave to their teams, etc once they have crossed the finish line, so whether the car in front had stopped or was driving slowly the car behind must be to blame for not being fully observant!
Final race of the British GT series at Brands this weekend.....anyone going to that? (Not that it can compare at all with the Le Mans Series!).
