If Norberto Fontana is to be believed, implied threat that if he, and Herbert, did not hold up Villeneuve in the last race of the 1997, Sauber would lose the Ferrari engines. As it was, of course, things turned out rather differently.

Todt is very good at what he has done, the main argument from my point of view is that what he has done has not been good for the sport. Many other team managers have been in love with F1, Todt is in love with Todt.

My local authority hates him as well. It took out an injuction against models of him in a front garden near to me. They were him, of that there is no doubt. You only had to look at them. The pointy hat and the fishing rod was a poor disguise.
