Has anyone heard anything over the last few days from the Todt camp or Ari's?

It has all gone suspiciously quiet. Mosley hasn't slagged of royalty for the last few days. What's got into him? Certainly not humility.

It would be nice to think that he is (finally) actually following the FIA rules where there is a requirement for 'The entire election process is conducted by the FIA’s secretariat. The secretariat will support each candidate’s needs during the election period and the FIA will give equal exposure to each within its main communication tools such as the internal and external websites and publications.' - so since he can't bring himself to say anything nice about Ari he's saying nothing!

I'm not holding my breath though and fully expect that a 'reminder' will be made close to the date to try to ensure that the delegates vote as required! With luck a few more of the threats reminders will be leaked by the lucky recipiants to show how low the MM/Toad campaign is.

This is not to mention the larger picture of somebody called "Michelle Yeoh" in the rotating images just above. She's got a whole lot to do with road safety, I am sure. She may even have a driver's licence.

To be fair to the lady in question, she has been promoting road safety more than just recently. I recall seeing this on BBC World while on holiday a few months ago: http://www.makeroadssafe.org/news/2009/Pages/Docum...

The Elections page also shows no bias, they've even got the pics of the candidates in the correct order for the results! suppose it would be too difficult to have them side by side thereby giving them equal exposure and placement

Ah but - the less publicity Todt gets right now the less likely a popular uprising against him is. Keeping the lid on Ari is simply an unexpected bonus.

Anybody think there's anything in the rumours at Pitpass that there's another scandle due to break just before the elections concerning some team's rpm at Monza or is that just wishful thinking by somebody?

Yes, but why did she get the job in the first place?
Maybe something to do with her boyfriend's being Mosley's favourite candidate?

The job gives her the opportunity to go around the world, maintaining a profile and promoting herself. I don't care about that, in that it's predictable from this lot, but it's another example of how these clowns are trying to tip the scales.

One would also be very interested to see how many of these globe-trotting "Road Safety" appearances she has made this year, in relation to her trips last year.

Apparently Ari was marched out of moseleys office in Monaco when he suggested that the ballot papers should be anonymous rather than have names printed on them.

The FIA are seriously mental.

Transparency indeed - Do me a favour! There will be no credibility to this election. It may as well be held in Afghanistan for the amount of corruption evident.

I hope, that WHEN Toadt wins.... there will be some suitably shocking new revelations unveiled that will show his, Mosleys and all of his little whip tickling cronies up for what they are.

All this bks about how MM has done so much to promote the safety in the sport - Yeah, cos no-one would of thought to try and improve things without him there would they

The FIA currently is a black cloud hanging over F1 instead of the silver lining that it should be, promoting the sport and ensuring a fair fight amongst the actual competitors and rolling out the improved safety features to other forms of motor sport.

Ok it seems that Max's goons in the FIA are actually lobbying for JT, leaked emails to the telegraph and these statements on the FIA website. Basically they are trying to convince the smaller clubs to side against the american and european clubs as there are more votes with the smaller clubs. Check this link out!!

That is fking scary.

If I was Ari, I would be going to see my ex-colleagues in the European Parliament to investigate the whole process. Make it a nice open investigation so that everyone can see the behind the scenes bullying that seems to go on.

I sincerly hope that Ari manages to "do a Mosley". By that I mean win the election as the underdog. However with the seemingly rigged voting system, I doubt it will happen.

Does anyone have any odds for an Ari victory?
