Autosport snub Brawn GP

Amazing that this weeks edition fails to recognise Brawn GP achievement of winning Constructors Title, a real lost opportunity, it should have been a double celebration, not just Jenson. Ross, you and the team did a great job too even if Autosport failed to notice!

Yes , not hard to see why Roebuck etc have departed to a better quality magazine , Autosport seems to be losing it's way these days.

I get the feeling you're a bit of a minority fan if you follow the teams closer than you follow the drivers. And the teams' marketing strategies and slightly lesser extend Autosport tend to follow reflect this.

autosport is little more than a glossy comic, all pretty pictures but weak journalism, bar roebuck (if he still writes for it) and marcus pye it has nothing going for it....

Brawn is mentioned on the cover but that's about it, no joint celebration of the Button and Brawn unique achievement, would have been a wonderful opportunity but the magazine unbelievably missed it.I would expect that from The Sun but NOT Autosport

you gotta admit FLemke, he is right.

I don't think Autosport is as bad as is said here. I think Mark Hughes is a good journo - his insight has always been very good. Piola's drawingas and Gary Anderson's analysis together are worth the cover price alone. FWIW I personally don't like Pye - I have reasons that I won't go into here.

Maybe they are spreading it out a little and will make more of a meal of the Brawn achievement in the next issue.

It was a change of name and ownership, not a new team. As everyone knows. Except you, seemingly.

The focus has always been on the drivers' championship ahead of the teams' and, let's face it, a British driver won.
