Any half decent driver could be a World Champion in a decent car! Just look at Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton at the start of the season.

On quite a few occasions in qualifying this year Rosberg has shown his true pace , Frank has always said he hoped they could give him a car that would match his talent and will be sad to lose him. I think we can take FWs judgement on this one , if I was in charge of McLaren I would have snapped him up rather than the unpredictable and mega-salary Raikonnen.

It is a good move to go to Brawn.
Brawn need to plan for their future. Whilst Button and Barrichello might be top of the table this year, if I was Ross Brawn I'd be worried that it was a bit of a cosy partnership. Whilst they have both had the 'year of their lives', there are doubts about their performances when the car wasn't to their liking this year.
An Alonso-type star in the team could have been disruptive, a Heidfeld or Trulli type would give them more of the same, but an ambitious driver like Nico might just keep Jenson on his toes.
