A few mates and I are going to spectate as usual. As last race of the season would have expected a good turnout but as you say not much info so far.

Claire has just sent out the entry list, paddock plans etc so more info is now available. Should be a great end of season finale with the GT3 title only at a 1 point differance taking the best finishes to date.

It's good isn't it, right down to the wire and as it should be if we are all doing our best to make it exciting bounce

To all class and title contenders, the best of luck, lets settle this on the track so hopefully no DNF's or whatever's.

God, I do love this sort of pressure, 1 or 2 points between classes and much the same for overall GT honours, may the best teams on the day take the trophy's, we'll be there to collect if we can keep it together or if unlucky, we'll cheer on those who make it thumbup

Let's hope britcar doesn't allow, for example, Mosler engined marcos's to run in class 3 out of the blue, 2 seconds a lap quicker than everything else taking away any hope of more "relevant" class cars picking up that all important last round point from a fastest lap biggrin

Have a great weekend's racing everyone. We warmed the track up for the other day.

Looks like there's a few loose ends still to tidy up. As Rod says fingers crossed there are no dnf's in there, no one wants to settle a championship that way.

Keep smiling and have fun.

Henry smile

Class 3 Britcar GT really is the most wide ranging class of them all, we have certain cars in class 3 that can outperform class 1 cars, eat class 2 cars for breakfast and run maybe 5 seconds a lap faster then others in the class yet they still remain class 3 cars !!!!! Bringing in a fast Ginetta in invitation is just par for the course, the reasoning will officially be power to weight etc etc, but in real terms it goes a little like this:

Q. How quick is your car? Can it keep pace with a class 1 car
A. Yes, It's 400bhp an weighs a little more then an acorn
Q. So, you would beat the arse off most class 2 cars.
A. Yes, those that are class 2 as opposed to those that are IN class 2 but should be class 1, but hey, we can probably sort them out anyway.
Q. Well, we better put you in class 3, there's more competition for you there. hehe

At least as an invitation car the G50Z can't take overall points or fastest lap point etc. so long as it doesn't get involved in any conntact (and NO reason to think it would) no real reason to worry what class it runs in.

As for oldman Firman throwing more fishing lines into the ocean that is the Britcar forum, guess he'll need to keep casting to get a proper bite about Moslers and the Marcos wink
