Film24 - Ayrton Senna

Channel 157 on sky,a programme about Senna,1hr long,thought people might like to know.

This was on the other week, and what a load of st it was. I watched it for about half an hour and I think there was one clip of Senna, and he wasn't even driving! There was basically some bloke wittering on about his karting/FF/F3 career while they showed some random footage of either karting/FF/F3. I remember when they got to his F1 days, and Lotus, all the footage was of Elio de Angelis! I turned off in disgust at that point

That must have been the one I caught the end of - it was like a Ladybird book version of his life - "He was very fast but one day he drove too fast and something went wrong and he drove into a wall and died, the end"
Truely awful journalism and gave no sense of what he was like at all. (But then, having just finished the epic "The Life of Senna" I'm not sure I can learn much more about him, except his inside leg measurement perhaps!)

I saw it too.. the journo obviously had no interest in / knowledge of Motorsport.

I saw that a few weeks back as well, I guess they don't have the rights to any footage so used any old cr@p that was lying around. For most of the time it didn't make any sense.
