Hi all,

I'm currently in the process of tearing the inside of my Tuscan apart so that I can build it all up properly with proper wiring etc. As part of this, I'm replacing the dashboard as its quite worn with lots of holes in for things I don't need.

Consequently, I've had a chat with Tim at ACT and he's agreed very kindly to dig out his mould of the Tuscan dash and will make me one in carbon fibre. The only issue with carbon is that it conducts electricity if the resin is worn through, so live wires and friction can be a problem. To get around this problem, the dash will be made with carbon layers at the front and fibreglass at the back. This should then be light, strong, safe and look good.

He is able to do either the drivers side only (up to the switch panel), or all the way across to the passenger side as he made the mould originally for his Tuscan road car. Both versions extend all the way back to the windscreen as with the original. As with all of Tim's products, the finished kit will be of a high standard and should look great in anyones cars.

Anyway, while the mould is out we thought we'd ask around and see if anyone else wanted one when work is started next week?

Prices are as follows:

Drivers side only (Pre-preg carbon with glass back-up): £185
Full dash (all the way across the car, again pre-preg with glass back-up): £340

If anyone would like to get their name on the list, please PM me with your desired order along with your contact details and I'll pass the list onto Tim.

Cheers!
