I don't think I'm the only one finding the way many of the threads are going at the moment tiresome (If I'm wrong getmecoat )

Okay, it's a forum, with varying views; but as others have said, the majority are F1/motorsport fans first and fans of particular drivers and/or teams second beer

But; we've got nearly 4 months until the next GP, about 2 until any serious testing starts!

Debate and discussion is great - but just vomit on a thread with 'X is rubbish' or 'X will beat Y blah ' doesn't move the world forward, just pcensoreds people off!

any chance of things getting a little less rabid? thumbup

Yep, many of those people that bandy that 'fan' word around should take a close look in the mirror wink

Quite a lot of regular posters left General Motorsport last year after all the Hamilton - Massa - FiA - Ferrari bickering that went on; seems to me there have been more leaving recently.

So, much as I hate this almost as much as Project 644 hates "fanboy"...

+1.

People need to stop replying to the obviouse wind up merchants.

They arent interested in a truce or anything else, not even really interested in the sport either if you ask me.

Stop replying to the trolls and they will get bored and go of to another forum.

Nothing wrong with sensible discussion on who people think will be better or worse next year but everyone needs to look at whos posting what before replying. Been guilty myself of repsonding to the trolls in the past but have learnt my lesson and take a look before leaping now.

Dont feed the trolls.

Regards
TJ

It is getting tiresome. My favourite driver is better than your favourite driver, with rose tinted, factless evidence to support it.

Move on please.

Its getting veru boring sorting through all the Button and Hamilton threads, whihc are basically covering the same thing. Cant the mods do something and sort them out?

Maybe not the thread to raise it in, but it was Hamilton v Button this year, Hamilton v Massa last year and Hamilton v Alonso the year before in this place. I'm talking the 'fanboy' wars rather than actually on the track obviously as Hamilton wasn't a rival to Button this year in the championship and both Hamilton and Alonso were beaten by Kimi.

So from that, one might suggest it's the Hamilton people who have the problem? Every thread regarding anyone always degenerates into x v Hamilton and it always seems to be the same people diverting the thread.

Yeah i agree. I'm a big Lewis fan and have never cared that much for Jenson, to be honest i thought he has always been disrespectful of Lewis but watching his interview on the beeb today has cleared that. I hope he does well (not as well as lewis of course) but i'm glad he has joined the team so will support him next season as a no2 driver to my no1
