F1 invites proposals to improve the show

Obviously they wont be asking the fans but if it were up to you, what 5 things would you change about F1 (within reason) to make the sport more enjoyable to watch?
Obviousy overtaking needs working on but what other things would make it better to watch either on TV or as a spectator?
As a spectator Id like to see
More track action on race days (warm up or Quali)
More support events and/or track demos
More big screens
Minimum race length, say 1hr 45 (Monza lasts 1hr 20 without Safety cars, Value for money??)
Drivers allowed to celebrate, Donuts, burnouts flag waving etc...
On TV/Internet,
HD
More onboard shots and ability to choose which to view
Customise on screen display, similar to video games (map, telemetry, lap times etc..)
communicate live with commentary, ask questions, tell certain people to shut up!!
Ability to turn off all the above and watch and listen as if trackside

Longer races,
Different looking cars (if you know what i mean, less restricting rules)
Less races in countrys which have nothing to do or ever had anything to do with f1

One of the more interesting periods in F1 was when designers and engineers were allowed to let their imagination run a bit, that's when we saw the 6 wheel Tyrells and the Brabham-Alfa fan cars. It was thinking like this for which Colin Chapman was famous for with the ground effect cars and active chassis, prior to this of course there was the rear engine revolution in the very late 50's. With the restrictive rules in place these days none of these innovations would have happened. So, my suggestion, relax the rules dramatically and make F1 the pinnacle of open cockpit/open wheel racing with as few regulations as possible.
As RichB says, less restrictive rules to kick-start development rather than relatively minor tweaks to cars which increasingly look the same ( e.g. specify engine size, has to last x number of races, and a rev limit, then leave the rest to the engine designers. Chassis has min weight, crash test & other safety related stuff, and maximum dimensions, the rest is up to the designers )
Manual gearboxes - looking back over 'classic' season reviews it's surprising how often a pass was made due to a driver missing a gear
No pitstops unless there is something wrong with the car - if tyres are changed it must be proven to the scrutineers that one had suffered a puncture on track.
Mini GP on the Saturday, with the test drivers in the spare cars - gives them a chance to show how they do under race conditions

Shocking idea. F1 should not sell out to people that are so uninterested they need gimmicks like this to attract fans.I have no problem with a fantastic qualy lap and that driver going on to win the race. That is what all the F1 teams and drivers strive for. Not dominating a weekend but ending up tenth on the grid.
Quite a few other ideas have been good. Unfortunately whenever we hear about inviting ideas and asking the fans they just go on to ignore all the good advice and proceed with some out the blue it will never work idea for the sake of it, only to change or 'fix it' again after a couple years. It seems like that anyway!
I think we should have an end to the engine freeze - F1 was always a hotbed of engine development, and we need bleeding edge development of petrol engines.
With the banning of refuelling, F1 should now focus on extracting the most HP out of a litre of fuel. All of the gains they make in economy there will fairly quickly trickle down to road cars, and will mean we will be able to drive around in vehicles with proper engines for a while longer.

They need better camera angles at the circuits. Sense of speed is lost totally on the TV.
I think there needs to be more variation in the way the cars achieve the lap time, too. KERS showed us this year what would happen if it were possible to have, say, a V8 and a V10 and a V6 turbo. Certain cars stronger at certain tracks would mix up the racing and hopefully see more overtakes and a closer championship. I worry that after the overtakefest of 2009, 2010 will be yawnsome in comparison except when tyres have completely had it.
I'd like to see cars able to run in different liveries in the same team. BAR wanted to do it way back in 1998? with a 555 car and a Lucky Strike car and I don't see any reason why the smaller teams can't do that. Works in NASCAR.
Fewer celebrities on the grid? That'd be nice.
And Bernie looking an utter prat in a different brightly-coloured blazer, supplied by the race promoter in a colour of their choice. He looked so miffed to be in that bright red one that I want to see that on every grid walk.
