Indy 500 2010

I am thinking of attending this event in 2010. Dont have a huge interest in Indy cars or what ever the series prefers to be called now as I did say back in the mid 90s but it is one of the biggest motorsport events in the world and I have to admit I would like to attend it at least once. I have looked on their site and the most expensive tickets across from the start line/pits are only $150 ?? Has any one attended the race before and what are their thoughts. Ticket prices seem very cheap compared to European events, is this the case? I would be flying over / hiring a car etc maybe from friday to Monday. Sounds tight I guess especially if rain pushes the race out a day, dont know how ofen that happens. Surely the race loses a lot of the atmosphere and crowd if it goes to a weekday? Just read in 1986 the race was postponed from Sunday to the next Saturday! Any info or thoughts would be appreciated.
