Is it possible to go to the F1 testing days at Silverstone? I have googled "F1 testing days" and can't seem to find the dates anywhere which is mysterious i know a few years ago you were able to go, any ideas?

Cheers guys maybe see you there

I think yes, but I think you will have to pay now when it used to be free.

Wasn't there a Silverstone test last year? I know I read something about them charging for it. Or am I even thinking of 2008 when they charged for it?

If it didn't happen last year then I guess it won't happen this year.

Added - It was 2008 I was thinking of - http://www.f1fanatic.co.uk/2008/06/17/silverstone-...

Only 2 days of testing allowed? Haven't 7 teams already done 3 days this week?

The last test at Silverstone was 2007 which you did have to pay for. The dates went up for 2008 but were later cancelled when more testing restrictions came in IIRC.

and the silverstone website that says if you become a member BRDC you get entrance to the pits on F1 test days?

I think Virgin F1 are supposed to be testing at Silverstone tomorrow but you never know wink

Last time I went to testing was at Silverstone 2007, entry was free, but I would gladly have paid.
It was mid week so you only got real hard core supporters, so anyone you spoke to was into it and you could have a good chat about it.

BTW anyone notice that today's testing in Spain got over 30k spectators!
