They started the engine for the first time a couple of days ago. (see bbc website for short interview with Gascoyne about it). he said there are a few bits left to bolt on but should all be done by thier expected release date.
I think they show the car end of this week in london? I'm guessing it will look semi force india/toyota-ish due to MG's most recent designs being with them, and probably green and yellow as this is the colours of thier new retro logo, probably BRG with the yellow center stripe to work the lotus connection as much as possible. (and the best colours for a lotus imo)

That pic looks more like a very dark green and yellow as oppossed the Black and Yellow of the 'shopped image. Shame they have to have the Proton name on there.http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/81365

It also looks quite clunky and simple in form - quite unlike most of this years challengers.I was sort of expecting the car to have 'Air Asia' peppered all over the car.. Tony sponsored our hockey team at college and the kit had Air Asia written all over it! (the umpires also had to wear bright red caps with Air Asia on them

I really don't usually like constant grumbling about how it's not as good as it used to be. But I literally nearly fell off my chair when I saw this. If only todays cars looked a frction this good.
