leob fastest in shakedown, kimi tenth, 5.9 seconds slower over the stage, but ahead of wilson and only just behing henning solberg.

Shakedown times mean nothing, the trick is to make sure you don't bin the car while checking the systems out. Kimi had a crash on the road section. laugh

well, actually, he turned to late for a road junction and another car knocked his evo.

going very well for a 'retired' rally driver.

Kimi is going pretty cautious, think he is concentrating on finishing the rally.

kimi was held up behind a damaged car for nearly the entire 1st stage.

Motors are doing quite a lot of coverage tomorrow if I remember correctly, only Loeb left by then though. laugh

Gronholm electrical probs.

Happy one crashed and broke I think.

Just watching this on Motors now, pretty hectic stuff all around, shame what happened to Kimi though, seemed innocuous enough but lost bags of time over it - I notice there was a film crew there to catch it all but no supporters?!?

yes their helicopter landed in a field next to where kimi came off
