The fact that they are called Stefan isn't the most shocking thing in this story, the fact that they are apparently considering Ralf Schumacher is tho..........eekyikesconfusedlaughcryhurlshootarguepunchcursenonocensoredcensoredcensoredcensoredcensoredcensoredcensoredbangheadrantingtumbleweedgetmecoat

Well I guess between Jacques and Ralf they could have a pretty good pie eating competition team.

Rubbish drivers aside (well JV was good at one point, not any more) why this team is not given a slot if beyound me.

They have a car, they have the money and the willingness to get involved.

Also, as they have not been allowed entry yet, and if the cars are ready- whats stopping them pounding around a circuit, 24/7 for testing as they are not within the FIA rules as yet?

It's all about the contracts the other teams have signed. I imagine that none of them have breached their contracts yet so they are all technically still entitled to be on the grid in March. This is probably why Stefan GP have been lobbying for a 14th team to be allowed, as they know that otherwise they won't be allowed in until one of the other teams are in breach.

In fact, speaking of contracts, I imagine the contract they have all signed is just the Concorde agreement, and regarding recent contradictions between Todt and the FIA it doesn't seem clear when they would be in breach, whether it is the 4th race they miss or if they are in breach after missing 1 race.

Oh yeah. But still, 5 world champs would be great, but let's face it, JV wouldn't be any where near the other 4.
