Lewis & Jensen interviews on Sky earlier - interesting
Discussion
I can't find the video online but both were asked the question "If you don't win the 2010 F1 World Championship, who do you want to win?"
Lewis: "My team mate, its about the 1,000 odd people in McLaren too."
Jensen: "I don't care, if I don't win then it doesn't matter to me."
Lewis was interviewed and asked his question later, after answering the interview told him what Jensen said. Lewis' face gave away the fact that he was less than impressed.
What's the betting someone is going to be getting a talking to

I like LH when he is racing but he is the ultimate version of the corporate robot
Whatver the case, isn't it good to make the rest of the team feel important? Even if you have an ego and care for nobody, the ability to make others feel good while helping you become a winner is important. Jensen disappointed me, I always though he was a gentle kind of guy, turns out he's a bit of a prick (IMO).Targarama said:

fook me jensen can;t win- he gets pilloried on here for not being competitive and single minded enough, but when he shows how competitive he is, and single minded he gets pilloried for not being "corporate" and "team". Lets be honest, like ALL racing drivers, he only cares about coming first- LH included (as he has made abundantly clear through past ACTIONS- lying anyone?). Lewis: "My team mate, its about the 1,000 odd people in McLaren too."
Jensen: "I don't care, if I don't win then it doesn't matter to me."

Lets be honest this is one of those quotes that looks far worse than it was probably meant. Jensen is quite good at just being honest and saying the first thing that comes to mind (and probably the real answer), Lewis is like Teflon Tony- all goody two shoes on the surface but compeltely dishonest with it. ONe of the reasons why i prefer Jensen to Lewis.

Jens will get panned here whatever he does. Shame really, as I see it a Brit won the WDC, rock on.
It the British way. Some people just love to find fault with those who excel in there field, (or track). Some times this place turns into an online version of Hello magazine

Not really, I'm expecting him to the be calm, smooth driver he is waiting for Lewis/MS/Alonso to have a coming together, then nip past and win races. However, up until this interview I was neutral about what kind of a team player he was. Now I'm erring on the negative side.deltaevo16 said:
Been searching for the interview and cannot find it anywhere, seems a bit strange Jens to say something like that, as he must realise it would pee a few people off.
It did happen, honest. I was at the gym and it was on Sky News in the sports section. Some Mclaren press event in London by the looks of it.Some idiot from the media said:

That is a really stupid question to ask though.I mean it's as bad as what's-her-face-with-the-bangles asking Jarno Trulli about Lewis Hamilton's chances of winning after Jarno had retired from a race.
I wouldn't be surprised if Lewis trying very hard not to piss anyone off since there are so many cretins ready to pounce on anything he says didn't have enough time to get quite how stupid the question was so gave a standard response, whilst Jenson with more time to think about it and realise what a stupid question it was gave his answer with a smile and threw them a bone to chew on.
Who asked the question, Alan Titchmarsh?
