Stefan GP Not On Entry List

Making the FIA selection process even more of a shambles. Campos/HRT haven't signed a second driver or produced a car. Stefan have Nakajaffa and Villeneuve, and a car. Why aren't they there?
Only reason I can think of is they'd need all the other teams to agree, and Ferrari aren't going to like Mr Coughlan back in F1

It is completely ridiculous that we have a top line sport which has just had it's best season in like, forever and that the next one is shaping up to be even better.
And the governing body f
k around so much that they can't even put together and entry list properly to such an extent that there's an empty slot and a complete running team ready to go and they still can't make it work.

It does make you wonder, doesnt it. And to think, Prodrive didnt get the nod because of US F1, Campos Meta were "better" options for F1. And the governing body f

You what?Lotus and Virgin are running cars, USF1 is now shut down. Only Campos/Hispanna need to get a car done

Virgin have run their computer designed car but have ongoing hydraulic issues and are slow/ off the pace.
Campos/Hispana haven't tested (I don't think) and haven't launched their car. They don't have a second driver announced at present.
US F1 looked finished more or less from the outset.
Stefan GP (I think) have one car (which was going to be a Toyota), 2 drivers and no tyres.
Prodrive would have got the job done.
With a week and a bit to go, it is not a smart way to run a sport.
With crash tests likely to be another difficult hurdle for Stefan or Campos it is clear that customer cars are definitely the right way to go (and would be a source of sustainable income for manufacturers like Williams)

The Dallara designed and built car passed it's final mandatory crash test on the 19th January.Edited by Red Firecracker on Thursday 4th March 14:13

Thats quite a leap right there. I'd say, and it's been well discussed in other topics, the FIA's selection criteria was at fault.We'll soon see, although it's only fair to give the likes of virgin a chance.
As for stefan, their tenacity is impressive -they seem to have at least the determination that you need to succeed in F1- but I fear their fate is sealed by signing mike couglan, which gives them about as much chance of getting into F1 as the KKK have of getting mobo award.
Campos / HRT launched their car today, looks similar to the Manor/Virgin car at first glance
