Just been sent a link to this video of a trip around the circuit recently showing the current condition.

Looking at that video a few narrow trenches dug across the track at McLeans/Coppice and the Melbourne loop for drainage pipework and a small section of tarmac taken out off-line on the exit of Coppice, track wise looks like a pretty easy fix. Infield looks like the usual muddy dump it always was. Replace the mud along the track with grass and it wouldn't look any different.

To me the biggest job would be just to clean it all up so that the public can move about and view any racing. Unless the video didn't show something.

Its been needing resurfacing for a few years.

the track was resurfaced in 2003 IIRC.
