Do you think that Button will survive his 2 year contract at McLaren based on his pace against Hamilton at the weekend?

Yes! Seriously! I don't think he will be in top 4 drivers all year....and McLaren will want 2 competitive drivers.

I said when it was announced that he was going to be driving for McLaren that it will be his last season in F1 and I think Bahrain (only one race granted) showed that he is going to be walked all over....

Clearly the above poster knows all about driving a 2010 f1 car, settling into a team, new regulations and the dynamic properties of what is involved to have two f1 cars, two different characters and over 400 people working well together. You sir are a genius but unfortunately are also terribly wrong!

Was it painful for you when he won the championship last year? Did you feel physical pain because he had turned over all of your bleating about how crap he is? Did it embarrass you? Do you feel like people are laughing at you for being wrong? Did you feel like hiding from people?

This thread is much like the Schumacher one. Pointless.

Oh, and the answer to your question is yes.

Chin up.

Judging by the number of these types of threads you would think we were 15 rounds into a 19 round season.

Walked over, when did that happen then? All I saw was a processional race where no one, except Kovalainen and Trulli actually pass each other on track. So there was no walking over by anyone.

I like many am sick of trolling threads like this and we are going to be clamping down on such rubbish from now on in here and I'm starting with this thread, I'm closing it. If you're not happy, tough report it to the mods.......and I will deal with later.

Ask the question again at the end of the year when it might be relevant.
