With less than 3 weeks to go, I have done a quick audit of who has committed to Cadwell and it doesn't look good, even though I hope I shall be up-dated/rated!

Class A: Danny W, Tim Davis, Hugh Marshall(?)
Class B: Keith VW, Richard Hewitt
Class C: Dave Chant, Dave Stewart

I know that there are cars still in prep for which Cadwell is too soon, but hopefully we can make a start grid of at least 10 - there were about 20 last year!

Talking to other championships, many are struggling for the first rounds. Once we get beyond Cadwell I think were looking in better shape than most..

If the entries are low and there is something similar then grids will be combined, if too low then they can be cancelled.

Sorry, but Danny won't be out at Cadwell we are trying to do a full season in gt cup and have only just got the first Tuscan ready.

The second car we are building is only a rolling chassis so we will be out in the championship when it is ready ?

Up to now there are 5 cars entered according to the BRSCC. I spoke with JR this evening who tells me that he is expecting 12 to 14 to be racing. Don't forget that there are racers who do not come on here. The BRSCC tell me that they will run a race with as little as 6 cars rather than cancel.

Cadwell is far too early for me I am afraid and most of you know that I feel the track is innapropriate for Tuscan Challenge cars. The mountain breaks gear boxes and diffs even quicker than I can manage on my own and the prospect of a lead battle coming on the slower classes through the esses and past the farm where you can't overtake are far from enthralling. I like the circuit but it is too tight for bigger cars and I recall the days when big bangers were banned from meetings here. Sory but Hui won't be there.

Hopefully we'll have a few more cars out on the grid! I think it was maybe expected accross the board that the credit crunch would hit this year harder in motorsport but where has everyone gone???

Even so, where have all the Tuscans gone - excluding Owen's and Richard's being re-built?!? Dean Cooke was at Cadwell last year and what about Gary Lancashire?

Richard - I will be racing for the rest of the season but will not be racing at Cadwell unfortunately - and I do like the circuit! I've moved house recently so time and money are in short supply. Also the Tuscan needs some work to get it race ready to how I want it. I'll be at out Snetterton for sure. I'll be at Cadwell though giving Tim a hand with the new beastie! biggrin

I'm hoping to be ready by Snetterton. Time and finances have not allowed things to progress as smoothly as I expected over winter.

I'll be out too!

Don't think I'll even make Snett though at the current pace. With a bit of luck I'll have an engine to put in in a couple of weeks though so then it will be on to the small niggly jobs which I expect to take bloody ages. When they're done though..!

I'm not planning on racing this season due to time commitments with my business although I may be able to do a couple of rounds towards the end of the year. The gearbox is fixed, car just needs an engine installing and it's ready to go. I'd like to see the car out there so if you know anyone who would like to do a rental / engine deal please let me know.

Hi G,
You got a link, as looking for a trailer again, as scraping the truck.
