Times from first 3 hours practice:

Times from last 3 hour session:

Will upload more on demand!

Was definitely a couple of PistonHeaders there today as well with their PH smiley proudly displayed!
One red Honda civic and a Silver Ford Puma with bright orange highlights and bright orange smiley!
If you read this Mr Puma driver, I have a few pics of your car if your interested (a couple on track), nothing too spectacular though.

Those Vauxhalls look good! Nice to see a VW, pity it isn't the Caddy!

Ah, so were you the guy in the media centre taking a pic of the timing screen on a phone behind me at the end of session 2?

No PH sticker on my car I'm afraid, and it's a silver Astra so hardly memorable really!

hehe

Nah I was the young yobbo in a black hoodie with camera to hand, got the first pic from the Honda garage and second from the screens in the pit.

Did end up around the media blokes quite a lot though biggrin
Spent a lot of time in the pits wink

The Focus' sounds beautiful (not sure which others are turbo'ed) Make a lovely Turbo noise when they come off the power aswell. Not a dump valve sounds, more like a whistle.

I forgot they had timing screens in the garages too hehe

It was the media day so I guess spending a lot of time with the media is a bit of an occupational hazard wink

They sound OK actually, if it wasn't for the wastegate chatter you wouldn't know the were turbo'd.

The Focuses are running their own turbocharged (and gas powered) engines, Andrew Jordan and Dave Pinkney are both running the NGTC engine in their Vectras.

You know what I mean!
We ended up in a big group of them when we were taking pictures when they all lined up before going out for the first laps

Cool! The whole thing seemed to be completely open access to all, people seemed to be able to wander all over the place, even without media tabards - along the pit lane, paddock etc. Well done TOCA for allowing it, and all the drivers were very accessible too which is great for the fans who made the trip too.

From what I saw Chilton was pretty good, took 15 minutes out of his day to talk to my uncle and give his friend some advice on starting off. Also saw Matt Neal come out for a chat with a few people as well.

Saved us from sneaking into the pits like we usually do hehe

Not impressed with any of those colour schemes apart from the vectra, the rest just look bland and white.

Too many cars with similar colour schemes; looks like at least half the field is white with red and/or blue.

I wouldn't be surprised if a few of those are 'incomplete' colour schemes. I'd expect a few of the whiter items to be more colourful by the first round

Those integras just refuse to die don't they. The panels must be an inch thick in paint now.

Not bad, quite like the Vectra colour schemes. Just a thought; will the independents championship be scrapped now there are no manufacturer teams?
