Vettel to finally take a win, Alonso and Hamilton to battle all race long and Button to mop up anybody elses mistakes.

Schumacher to scrape a point despite a niggling neck and Nick Heidfield to have a big grin across his face.

Sparkplug failure - check
Brake failure - check

I reckon it'll be tyre failure in Malaysia. Lotus for a shock win on home territory hehe

Schumacher a 25/1 looks decent enough value as an outsider. He's always been mighty at KL.

I've put a £5 on Button to win (8/1) ( think he'll be on a high)(hopefully)

And random £2 bet on Kov in the Lotus to finish in the points! (12/1)
It is the Malaysian GP after all!! biggrin

As for the rest I think the Redbulls will be rapid, BUT will have another mechanical failure, probably brakes again as that's the kinda issue that is hard to Root Cause Analise and fix in just a week.

MercedesF1 will struggle if it rains as they are having trouble getting heat in their tyres as is.

As I said I think Lotus will sneak into the back of the pack with at least one car, as its their 'home race'

Anyway, roll on Quali!

Dry

Alonso
Massa
Hamilton
Webber
Rosberg
Button
(Vettel DNF)

Wet

Vettel
Button
Massa

Hope it isn't, if it pours down may as well pick some lottery numbers.

Seeing as I'll be watching the repeat at lunchtime-ish:

Food = something slaggish: maybe cheese on toast with a couple of slices of salami nestling under said melted cheese
Drink = tea

Dry / wet / middling? Doesn't matter.

1 = Vettel
2 = Hamilton
3 = Button

I tell ya, SV will get his first win of the season here.

Malaysia is NOT lotus' home territory. It's merely the source of Lotus' funds home territory. Lotus will be forever rooted in the turnip fields of Norfolk. That is all.
