Tow Vehicle

Looking for a Vehicle that I can use every day. that I can get 30+ MPG, and also Tow a trailer and 1 Ton race car.
Was thinking of a transit connect, 1400KG LWB 90PS, as more usable everyday than a regular transit, plus gives better millage.
Had mixed reports on the web on what it could tow.

Possibly a bit too light to tow a 1 ton car plus trailer - also check the max nose weight. How about some sort of 4x4, not motoring nirvana for the week days but will solve the towing side of things nicely.

530d is about the only thing that will comfordably tow a trailer that size & get 30 mpg out of. Friend has an auto estate & manages about 35mpg towing briskly

Sorry made a small mistake, need 30+ MPG when not towing. as will not be towing that often so know MPG will be bad while towing.
