Motors TV do a documentary series that's been following Williams for the past couple of seasons, although its based at the factory (in fact it's called "The Factory" I think), so there's not much footage from the races itself because I assume that's all owned by Bernie.

Ten years ago West (the tobacco brand) did some top pieces about life at McLaren for show in eastern Europe, all lifestyle pieces about the drivers, their training, PR stuff etc.

McLaren struggled with the BBC show and RD vowed never to do anything like that again....too many outsiders snooping around all wanting access to everybody.

Mercedes may do something because they are very media savvy!

Yes Bernie owns all of the race footage and to use is is outrageously expensive....not very clever in the internet age. Bernie never did get technology!! What no HD on the BBC!

Anyone remember 'the team'?, it was on bbc at 8 oclock, 1993 i think, folowed Mclaren in a 8 part series, as they tested, raced, team members perspectives etc. Probably was rubbish in all honesty, but this was pre internet, good old days and all that..
