British GT - Oulton Park
Discussion
Have I missed something or is there no thread on British GTs at Oulton Park?
Aside from it being a bit cold, I had a great day yesterday. There was some good racing (a few too many Ferraris? Especially when you take the Audis out of the equation). But with a couple of teams missing, it should be a better year, don't you think?

I also had a really good day at Oulton Park yesterday. It was very interesting to see the Audis on their debut, what a shame one of them had to carry a 30 second penalty in both races due to it's drivers being too experienced. Also making an interesting start to the season was the fact that the Ascari failed to finish either race, a real shame as it appeared to be destroying everything else on the track.
A good season in prospect!

Morning all,
Its taken me all week to get round to processing and posting my selection from the first rounds of the 2010 British GT Championship.
I was only at the track on Saturday due to work commitments on Bank Holiday Monday.
Didn't feel in the mood early on but seemed to get my head together for the afternoon sessions.
Heres my pics, hope you like them.
1) Lets start with the stereo-typical Oulton Shot, but not everyday you get an F430 on three wheels round Lodge corner.

2) Pretty KTM X-Bow heading towards the start/finish line

3) Viper of GT3 Racing hunting down the new Trackspeed 911

4) Aston Martin leading the GT train having just departed Druids destined for Lodge

5) I just can't get enough of these R8's - stunning

6) Lodge again for that Oulton shot - gorgeous Chad Ferrari

7) Last years champions, unlucky this weekend but its a long season

8) Ferrari leading G4 Nissan 350Z

9) Team shot - took ages to get the two cars together

10) Phwoooar, nice rear end !!

11) No thread on here is complete without a panning shot

12) Finally the gorgeous R8 again

Rest of the pics are up on my site: -

C&C welcome as always, not the most innovative shots I know, but more than happy with them considering I thought I was having an off day.
Regards
Tim

Nice shots Tim. I'm afraid my efforts are nowhere near so professional!
It's a great circuit for trying to get decent photo for an amateur enthusiast.
I love the Audi's, it's such a shame they already have a thirty second per race penalty on the number 23 car due to the drivers being too experienced!
Looking forward to a great season.

A little out of focus but, for me, a great achievement getting two cars into the frame!

Nice pair!

My favourite.

Probably a little late on the posting, but I too had an awesome time at the British GTs at Oulton...
First proper outing to Oulton in a long time; weather was good (as in, not raining!), walking around the pits was brilliant, some good racing too! I was amazed by the Ascari, as someones already said, shame they never finished, because they appeared to be destroying the rest of the field when they were running!
Was a little disappointed by the Abarth's though, was hoping the racing would have been more competitive. May just have been sat in the wrong spot though!
Pictures above are fantastic though
