Monaco F1 - a slightly large favour required!
Discussion
Like most lifelong F1 fans, a trip to Monaco for the F1 GP has been on my list of 'things to do before you die' for quite a while now. Having turned 40 last year and done nothing to celebrate, I then noticed that the Monaco GP falls on my 41st birthday and, what with Jenson and Lewis in McLaren's, the decision was made and I'm off there in May for 6 days
I've booked the flights, rented the car and found (thanks to PH) a lovely apartment t rent near Monaco. All I need now is access to the race! A couple of friends who said they might be able to help with something more than a standard admission ticket have failed to come up with the goods and, whilst I'm apparently on the list for a swanky party after the race, I still have no ticket
I'm going to book something through the authorities so that I have some sort of access, but if any kind PH'ers with links to a team, sponsor, corporate hospitality firm, hotel or boat are able to facilitate a decent vantage point, you'll be making someone eternally grateful and will be left with the decision of what to do with my left kidney, which I'd willingly donate for a decent spot on the day
I know it's a long shot, but if you don't ask.....

So, the Sunday prices alone account for most of your internal organs but they leave you a leg, and arm, all of one hand and parts of the other.
I assume it's run by bankers.
There's a vacancy in the ranks of gate crashers since that chap passed on few weeks ago. With you Nom du Forum and persuasive style of writing I'm sure you would be able chat your way in anywhere. In fact that would be a great challenge for the weekend.
Double bonus if you can get someone to pay you for being there. All organs and appendages retained.
