Most of the advice seems to be to pester, pester, pester... Send CV and covering letters to lots and lots of companies, follow up with phone calls, etc, etc. If they are race teams, offer to be a spanner fetcher/tea boy just to get known around the paddock...

Get a few million quid in your bank account and suddenly people all over will want you to drive for 'em...

Get down to a club meeting at either Brands or Lydden and there'll be bound to be plenty of local drivers and teams where you can introduce yourself.

This would be a good place to start, gives you a few options apart from needing a few mill for a drive. How about the marshaling option?

There are many automotive recruitment companies www.motoringjobs.comwww.am-online.comwww.hcpint.com for ideas, And always vacancies advertised in the back of magazines like AutoSport. And as suggested try Marshalling. My eight year old son has volunteered for a local karting company and wants to do work experience/volunteer for a local Motorsport company. Even if it only involves cleaning. He's willing to start wherever necessary giving up his free time.

Would suggest you think about relocation to get the job you want.
