So, who's your money on, is it going to rain on Sunday, will the Fords be pegged back by the new restrictions and will Matt Neal damage even more cars under braking into Island than he did last year?

So Chilton is still fastest in FP1, from Shedden, Collard, Jackson, Neal & Onslow-Cole which suggests that the extra restrictor still hasn't brought the performance of the Focus in line with the rest of the field given the different amounts of ballast across those drivers.

It will be interesting to see how qualifying goes and if we see more regulation changes before Croft. Will any other teams make the switch to run LPG?

I think Plato might be red faced in the interview after that move by Jackson....

Louise interviewing 3rd place James Nash.

"Now how about you, you did really well didn't you,"

I don't think she knew his name.

Great last race. Nice to see Plato and Neal shaping up to be the main contenders again.

Driver of the day is Jake Hill, again. 5th to 1st in 3 racing laps. Get in! smile

Bit of a nasty crash in the Carrera Cup.

On a side note, I still can't find the Touring Cars interesting

Yes it was. Martin in the yellow car hopped out pretty quickly and seemed ok, Parish seemed to be holding his arm - possibly broken?

Such a shame, a sad way to end a great day of racing. It was very similar to the accident at Old Hall in the G50's last year, hopefully Parish won't have broken anything and will be back ASAP.
