Where have all the Tuscans gone?!?

....and I really mean Class A Tuscans. Last year they dominated the Dunlop TVR Challenge grids, whereas this year there were none at Cadwell (yes I know it's a tight circuit for fast cars, but the front running Intermarque boys were fast and stayed on the black stuff), only 3 at Snetterton not including Graham's and KVW's Class B Tuscans and 2 slated for Brands Hatch currently.

Admittedly Owen's and Richard Wright's cars are being re-built by Tony and Michael Saunders, but that still leaves a lot of factory built racing Tuscans languishing somewhere, whose owners should be encouraged to get them back on the track if we are to keep the Championship alive this year.

There are only 10 TVRs entered currently for Brands Hatch - not a good turnout for a combined Tuscan Challenge/TVRCC race meeting!

Mine has just come home after over 2 years with Colin Blower having an original Tuscan RV8 fitted to a 1999/2000 chassis formerly Ed Sharpe / Rod Barrett car No.27.

I have to say Colin & Andrew have done an incredible job and accomodated my budget (hence the timescale) for which I'm hugely grateful.

Plans: A couple "shake down" mornings at Langbargh kart track to learn the car then prepare for the Northern Sports & Saloon Car Championship in 2011.

iv,e got three of them at the moment two are in states of undress and the other is car 77. i should have another to add to my collection shortly after having sold two recently which are road registered.one of those you will see shortly on the grid at oulton 16th october

Mines starting to come together now, should see me in it next season if all goes to plan..!
