It was good at the start to set an upbeat tone - but should have been faded out.

agree. as soon as the music started playing the first thing i thought was "i hope this gets faded out so i can hear the engine!"

you never get bored of those automated blips on the downshifts either!

He's always been a bit handy hasn't he?! I'm surprised he never had another go in sportscars after '99, perhaps the lure of the TV commentary box (and the F1 catering section) was just too much.

Why do the BBC always think we need music playing in the back ground even if it is great music we want to hear the car and or commentry , they always do it
