Because it's motorsport and it's general. Doesn't have to be pigeon holed.
Great Viewing

Precisely.

See what happened to the "Official Le Mans" thread.

Because the Internet wasn't quite ready for the 1977 race?

Well it should be smile.

I think if PH is going to open a separate forum JUST for the 2010 Le Mans, it should be consistent and open separate forums for each F1 Grand Prix and there should have been a separate one a few weeks ago for the 2010 Indy 500.

Stunning video, especially the cornering speed. Shame about the flies (RIP).

How the Le Sarthe circuit should be.

I mean, chicanes on the Mulsanne? Esses before the Dunlop Bridge?

Sheesh.

Sheesh.
"proper" Mulsanne corner and Tetre Rouge as well.
Those 934's and 935's he is flashing past are not slow cars by any means!

saddens me a bit watching clips like that. Because I always end up thinking.. 'It's ok today but it used to be so much better'

Coincidentally, mrs k & I were watching the ESPN Classic channel earlier this afternoon: "F1 Retro - 1970" was the programme. It included Zeltweg / old Hockenheim / Clermont Ferrand etc, and we both thought that it would be better to have spent money on upgrading the great circuits like these rather than spending millions & more on blandness like Bahrain and Hungaroring, and millions (probably) butchering the likes of Monza, Imola, and Hockenheim.
