FYI
Sunday's race is on BBC2. For those of us set to record the series with Sky+ remember to set this one manually.

The Radio Time shows all sorts of weird permutations regarding how the GP is to be shown. Should I ignore it?

The small matter of England V Germany means the GP is on BBC2.

Just checked the sky schedule thingy and it's on bbc2 so set it to record manually. Can't believe they keep moving it to another channel! Yes I know this time is so a bunch of blokes can kick a ball about but that's hardly a reason to stuff it up. Will see if they mention the change during the qualification.

I think viewing figures of at least 9 million are what dictates what goes where.

Is it such a big deal that it is on BBC2?

I'm just so glad it's on a mainstream BBC channel and shoved off to an obscure digital only chanel, as ITV would no doubt have done.

It's not unless you've set the series link to record it and then discover you can't watch it because they changed the channel. Again.

Well, if you think the world and live sporting events can be fixed in stone months into the future then you need to recognise that somed flexibility is needed. I find that with all the various recording options now open to people, they get annoyed when something isn't delivered to them EXACTLY as they anticipated. To me, this is a reaction akin to a spoled child.

Be grateful that we are able to see such a choice of sporting events from all around the world. I sometimes think people get more annoyed when they have too many options.

Freeview guide shows it on 1 & 2. Recording both. Allegedly there is one of those stupid football things on.

Yeah, how stupid of me to want technology to move forward and improve.....

Totally agree (ignoring the sarcassm).

Sometimes we just get too demanding. Technology makes a rod for the backs of those who embrace it.

If so the unless there's big issues with the race in Valencia causing delays you would only miss the lead-up stuff to the football game - as long as the race finishes on schedule there should be around 15mins until the game starts.

Best excuse I've had for taking over the TV all afternoon in a while (with a rather large stock of beer on hand too).
