As a driver, Alonso is one of the very best.
But as a human being, he's little more than just a miserable conspiracy-theorist - (who has shown his lack of integrity when he 'shopped' his own team).

Now, according to him, the FIA 'manipulated' the result at the weekend.
Or maybe his conspiracy theory is correct and Elvis was in Race Control......

Guess he shares that trait with quite alot of people who post on he then.

BTW he didn't 'shop' his own team, Ron did that, he just threatened to do it, just to be factually correct.

I guess i could say that Piquet and the "Others" knew of the Singapore incident.

We are dealing with facts here, not conspiricies like Alonso apparently knowing about the Singapore incident. Lewis according to the official FIA investigation did not have access to the data and i am sure that the Snake Alonso would have spilled his guts out on Lewis if he did.

You're right, he is a , but I did enjoy him sticking it up the inside of Massa. On that incident he's blameless, he got a better exit from the previous turn, knew they were both pitting so didn't need to brake for the next corner and was alongside before the pitlane started. Game on.

Moaned about LH's move yesterday, with justification from the rule book.

Moaned like a child about how long it took to look into the incident - bit harsh as Race Control had quite a few more important things on their plate at the time.

Moaned like a spoilt girl that LH was still able to rejoin in second. Tough, that's the way it goes sometimes. Look at how long it took to make people serve their drive through's in Singapore a few years ago...

Moaned at the 5second penalties people who broke the 'Delta' time got. Half with him here as I thought that 5seconds was a bit light, especially as I suspect a number of them would have taken more than 5seconds extra to get to the pits if they had observed their Delta time...

I thought his move on Massa a few weeks back was very quick witted but really not the done thing when it is against your team mate and the WDC isn't at stake on it.

Fred isn't that bad a peddler and there are times when I feel far more warmly toward his cause than i ever (do) did MS's. That said he does need to learn how to keep his toys in the pram.

It is ironic when he says the race was "manipulated", when just a couple of years ago, his own team mate "manipulated" a race for him by crashing at just the right time to bring out the safety car to enable him to leapfrog the field and win the race :-)

I wouldn't say I was anti-Alonso. But I don't think F1 has seen his level of whining since Mansell was about.

I laughed my tits off when Alonso threw his little hissy fit at Hamilton rejoining in 2nd following the drive through. Any other driver would not have made him so abjectly offended.

What's even funnier is the post-race throw the toys out of the pram routine from everyone at Ferrari, as if some incredible injustice robbed them of a race victory; if Hamilton had remained behind the safety car, he would still have been ahead of Alonso and still have scored more points. Alonso would still have been in 9th place. It would not have magically improved Alonso's points haul.

Then you have 9 drivers investigated for getting to the pits too quickly. I wonder who reported that gaggle to the FIA? Any guesses?

Once again, I laughed my tits off when they were 'only' given 5 second penalties.

This whole situation is great. Ferrari no longer have the ear of the FIA. They no longer have the best team of designers. They have a driver who is obsessed with only beating McLaren and Hamilton at the expense of anything else.

To be fair, I can understand the frustration somewhat. It's a home GP for him, the team has been hugely in the critics after sub-par performances since Bahrain, he's been under pressure from the media after jump-starts and avoidable bumping-into incidents... and now, they had a strong showing in practice and qualifying and all is good and well right up to Webbers crash. Safety car comes out and because of Hamiltons split-second lift off, he didn't make the legimate/illegal pass on the safety car.

Instead of strong 3rd, he's left right at the back of the pack.

That justifies the frustration IMO - which should not be directed purely at Hamilton but more so at the unique and unfortunate situation. The talk about race-manipulation goes a bit too far, especially after he was the main benefitor in what clearly was race-manipulation last year when the team forced a safety car to gain him the win. Oh the irony...
