The Official British GP 2010 Thread ***SPOILERS***

It might be a little early for some but I thought that I would start this off now as:-
1. It’s ‘our’ GP
2. There’s a damn good chance it will be won by someone from this fair Isle.
3. It’s only the 3rd BGP from a possible 34 that I wont be at because I missed my chance to go in favour of a trip to Classic LM with the Old Boy which might now be off
So with Mr Horner rapidly taking over the mantle of Jean Todt a paddock moaner with nothing to moan about as Red Bull appear to still have the fastest car over a lap, Mclaren with possibly the best all round chassis, engine, team and driver package and Ferrari as the relative unknowns due to their yoyo season thus far we could be in for a great race.
Added to all of the above we have a drastically changed track layout, with a few interestingly placed bumps, which could throw up some anomalies. Personally I wouldn’t like to call anything this year, even if I have a lingering concern that Red Bull might just walk away with it, so will settle on the confident prediction that Rubens will finish in the top 10 as he always goes well here and if it rains, he’ll be in the top 5.

Brits 1-2, in british cars. The brit-designed and Brit built red bull can be 3-4, with other british based teams further down the track.
That Spanish fellow in the red romper suit to crash in quali/early on and declare the whole f1 race unfair, a British conspiracy etc etc as nobody told him the track had changed since he last visited the place

My theory is:
> The Red Bulls will have a spectacular first half of the weekend but then become a big bag of fail during the race as seems to be the way this season with them, leaving McLaren or Ferrari to roll up and take at least a podium;
> The RBR's will struggle to begin with then dominate everything and thus creating a slightly dull race. McLaren likely for a podium.
Does Arena help the McLaren at all? It's fast and creates a new straight bit which should in theory help them...

Although Alonso has made an apology for his behaviour in Valencia, he is not willing to condone! The fraud between him and Hamilton has been reignited! Now if all else fails next weekend for the Spaniard, I wouldn't put a professional foul past him, 94 Schumacher style! Fernando is out for justice, and any chance of podium finish for Lewis in front of his own crowd is prohibited! Sorry, but Leopards and spots come to mind here!

Err, dictionary.com or it's lesser known sibling thesaurus.comI don't think fraud is the word you are looking for when describing the situation between Hamilton and Alonso. But feel free to explain it to me.

Dont forget Mclaren will be debuting their blown diffuser so that should be worth a tenth or two and Lotus will have an update on their car.
