Good find, only watched 5 minutes of the first days coverage so far and it's better than ITVs coverage already!

No live coverage atr the moment but two excellent interviews with Stirling Moss and Damon Hill in the archives.

The live TV seems to be mainly concentrating on interviews. Live radio is covering the runs up the hill.

As the live images are sponsored by Dunlop they are alternating between the TV images of the hillclimb and various activities going on in the Dunlop compound. My solution is to take the sound off Goodwood Radio so you can hear the cars going up the hill and the related commentary and have a look at the images to see if they are showing Dunlop stuff or hillclimb stuff.

Just spotted Nico Rosberg go up, in a 'Mercedes'. Something didn't look right about it.
Looked suspiciosly like a repainted Brawn wink

Is there an alternative to the interminable interviews?

They aren't allowed to run 2010 cars as it counts as testing, unless they use up their "filming" days to do Goodwood which I believe Williams are doing. The other cars are all 2009 or older though.

I don't think that's running though (Wasn't on Friday) If it is they'll be doing the same things with the filming days.

I presume the reason why the Goodwood Website live streaming is restricted is because of the Sky coverage.

I always find the best coverage of the Festival is on their post event DVD.

It usually comes out quite late - probably August/September.

Down the hill. Of course in Portugal they wouldn't bother with the straw bales - just line the route with spectators.
