A small selection whilst I sort through all my shots from the weekend (it was a bit hectic.. .was in Germany on Friday + Saturday for the VLN, then flew to Marseille on Saturday evening, to be at Paul Ricard for the GT1, GT3, GT4 + Super Trofero yesterday!).

this Vitaphone Maserati MC12 won the GT1 Championship race

Peter Dumbreck/Michael Krumm came second in the championship race in their SumoPower GTR

This Triple H Maserati MC12 had the best flame display on overrun though smile

though it had some strong competition from this Marc VDS Ford GT

A Mad Croc Corvette gets it wrong, behind one of the Reiter Lamboghinis

More Later, will also post some GT3, GT4, and some shots from the VLN in different threads.

Starting 19th on the Grid, with Oliver Gavin at the wheel, they charged through the field, rising as high as 4th. Unfortunately a bad pit stop, followed by a spin for Kuismanen put the car back down the field.

I can't help but love the Corvette - a fellow photographer out there remarked that the noise they make is painful... but a highly addictive form of pain... they were so right!
