I have just bought tickets for Saturday. They have advised they will need collecting from the ticket office when i get there. I asked the lady on the phone about parking without a ticket and she said i would be fine but would have to walk back and put the ticket in the car when i get it. This could possibly be a right trek from the ticket office. Just wanted to know if anyone has had to do this before. Or if it would be worth going on Friday to pick the tickets up ready for sat..??

Yeah, I've had an email from the lady I spoke to, giving me directions. I need to go to the reception in the innovation centre via the main gate. You may have problems getting to the main entrance by car on Friday given that the traffic plan will probably be in use.

Hi smit, those were the details I was given! Hopefully it is going to be a fairly straightforward process of driving in the main gate, parking up and wandering over to the innovation centre (which I hope to be signposted!).

Allow plenty of time to pick them up. I did this a couple of years ago and had to queue for over an hour on the Saturday. Then they could not find mine so another hour passed.

I booked my tickets for Friday, yesterday. Can anyone tell me where the Innovation building is please? I may go tomorrow to pick them up if it's a big queue on the day.

Edit: Just googled images of the building and i recognise where it is.

I've just got back. You need to go in the main gate, turn left before the red overhead sign and go through the car park, then over the painted mini roundabout and then second left. The pick up isnt in the innovation centre. It is in the brick building next to it, round the back - either in the reception or the fairly obvious ticket collection portakabins. Take ID!

Just your drivers license.....they were just making sure im not someone chancing their arm. I would think something similar would be just as good. The guys on the desk had 4in worth of tickets and seemed to be expecting a few people!

Oh.....i also took my booking confirmation!
