Where in peoples opinion will be the best place to watch FP1 & FP2 of Friday? I want to take a few decent photos of the cars on track.

Bridge - some great action pics there and the fence isn't too high.

What about the new section in the middle? Isn't the Grandstand there going to be free on Friday?

If they haven't changed the access restrictions from last year then normal ticket holders won't be able to get access to the new section. Hoping they have but I've seen no mention of it. Stowe and Club at the Southern end of the circuit are also quite good spots, especially if you want to take photos.

What about Platinum Plus passes? I've managed to get some from a friend that won them through Vodafone?

Not sure but they certainly sound like they'd have more chance than a standard ticket!

I've not seen/heard anywhere about the Arena complex being restricted, certainly not for people with roving tickets. It's worth a go as it'll be new to the drivers and there might be a few heart fluttering moments. I like Luffield - the complex is good there and, depending on your kit, you can get them going round Brooklands, Luffield and then backwards through Woodcote. The banking between Vale and Club is good as you can shoot over the fence there (if it hasn't changed).

Have a wander is the best policy IMO.
