There is a Strategy Session being hosted by the Indy car series. Should be online about half seven GMT.

The various design proposals may be viewed at

It's on now

Dallara have got the deal with their playstation car - snap on body parts. Really looks like speed racer or something - don't like it at all !

Dallara will build the chassis in Indiana USA. Big incentives for Indiana based teams, local suppliers to be used where possible.

Basically a good deal for the state. Tax breaks for Dallara etc etc

I really hoped they'd go for the delta wing idea, something different but instead its going to be the usual f1/indycar/gp2/f3000 mish mash look

Shame that the Dallara was chosen again, the Lola looks the closest to what i think the cars should be.

Better than that awful Concorde-like Delta THING hehe

Understandable them going for dallara after the support they've given the series over the recent yrs....i'd hoped they were gonna go for the BAT one though as it looks like the 80-90's indycars....actually, i lie, i wish they'd gone for an open formula

I really like the idea of teams being able to put their own bodywork on the cars. It might become a bit like F3 in that regard.

Hopefully they don't nobble the rules surrounding bodywork upgrades too heavily.

So did I, but only because it would have cheered me up no end every time I saw an Indycar race.

Because I wouldn't have been able to stop laughing.
