Rockingham - draft timetable

From the BRSCC yesterday - heavily caveated that it is draft and could change:

Sun 29th

Sign on 10.40

Qualifying 12.15

Race 16.20

Mon 30th

Race 14.20

When I spoke to them Friday last week they said to me it was very very rough, as there has been a request to put both races on Monday?? They advised me that by the end of this week it should be more finalised (and even if not definate it will only move an hour or so as per normal).

The request to put both races on the monday is due to the TV, they can only film on the monday.

A big part of my reason for entering was the two day format.

I think they were trying to arrange it so qually was on sunday and the two races on monday. with one race early ( never good for the tvr guys) and one late. giving a good gap.

it definetly looses something on the social side when its only a 1 day mtg and also a bit rushed if something goes wrong...

Spot on regarding the CCTV coverage which has been arranged for Monday only (due both to cost and the TV company's other commitments). Latest from Tim who's spoken to BRSCC this morning (from Turkey incidently where he's sunning himself on a beach somewhere!) is that they are doing everything they can to accomodate us with qually on Sunday & our 2 races on the Monday - so lets wait and see.
