The Offiical Korean GP Thread 2010 (or perhaps 2011 )
Discussion
The Korean GP has hardly been mentioned so far this season. But in recent weeks photos of a circuit resembling a building site have been circulating.
The first layer of tarmac ( http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/86234 ) has just been laid, but that's a very narrow frame and checkout the background.
And here's the article about the facilities, one lone building !

(more pics here http://www.f1fanatic.co.uk/2010/08/30/korean-track... ) so looks like the buildings structures are near enough complete)
It's the tarmac that's the real issue. Doesn't it take along time for the tarmac to settle ?
All looks very last minute !!

They finished laying the tarmac for Turkey 3 weeks before the F1 race. When the Moto-GP bikes went there a month or so later, they were complaining that the force of the F1 cars braking had rippled the tarmac, much like rucking up a carpet.
It will be one race that I won't be looking forward to. A new Tile track oooh. Just that desription alone sounds w
ky.
