But, again, if I remember correctly it was also covered by Eurosport who did not cut away, they just kept showing the helicopter feed.
I'm not a Senna fan but I don't want to see footage of his last minutes.
I do want to see his real racing drives, not him putting Prost off!
His lap at Donnington was what real racing drivers do.

It's saying 10,118 views and 'This video is unlisted' not clicked on the 'learn more' link but if a
small Japanese trailer can get y=that many view then |I think a lot of people will want to watch this film.

I have just tried the link from a different laptop and it still works fine at my end..
Skeggysteve - the pics I am referring to are photos and not film, they were taken at the crash site and are unbelieveably upsetting... much money has been offered in the past for the rights to them, but it has always been refused
ETA: according to a Brasilian site, the release is 8th October

I was 14 at the time & this was the 1st experience I had of a hero dying & I watched it all on tv. The eurosport feed just kept broadcasting, I guess we should have known. Dad was an early convert to satalite tv & the European news channels were so much more shocking back then.
When the car came to a rest senna kind of did an involantry movement iirc & I kind of said he was ok he was moving but my dad knew otherwise.
A very sad day, I just hope they make as good a film as possible, the guy deserves something great to remember him by.

Just to say that Murray and James where both national treasures to me and my family when watching F1 back then(and I'am sure alot of others). That period of F1 plus those 2 commentating was just awesome to me. Eg Mexico 1990, "and jumping live to the race.." "He's going round the outside!!"

Really looking forward to seeing this film. Senna was a legend. Tam Lin and I used to watch all the Grands Prix together (until I went off watching them when they started deciding the results in the boardroom after the race!), and I remember that awful weekend well. Everything was subdued on account of the death of Ratzenberger, and then to see Senna crash and not jump straight out of the car...
