F1 2011 Musical Chairs: who will drive for who?

The following teams have confirmed (or have contracts in place for 2011) both drivers:

Ferrari
Alonso and Massa

Lotus
Kovalainen and Trulli

McLaren
Button and Hamilton

Red Bull
Vettel and Webber

Toro Rosso
Alguersuari and Buemi

The following teams have confirmed (or have contract in place for 2011) one driver only:

Force India
Liuzzi

Mercedes
Schumacher

Renault
Kubica

Sauber
Kobayashi

Virgin
Glock

Neither HRT or Williams have confirmed their race seats for 2011.

Nick Heidfeld is speculated to be courting Sauber to replace Pedro de la Rosa. Petrov's seat at Renault is dependent on him improving his performance in the remaining races.

There is also a tender out for one additional team for the 2011 (the 13th team), which will create two additional slots.

So, how will this round of musical chairs end?

I think Sutil could go to Renault, although Petrov brings so much finance to the team he'll be difficult to get rid of!

I wonder if Felipe and Fernando are annoyed?

I think that, when I looked into this, earlier in the year most drivers were staying put.

Iirc only Sauber, Virgin, Renault and HRT were left to confirm.

Did you not hear about this? It was all over the news a while back. Whitmarsh was pretty angry.

Such is the problem with the testing ban - only the current drivers have any experience in an F1 car. Better to stick with what you know rather than waste the first half of the season learning what all the buttons do on the wheel.

Rosberg must be a cert to stay on at Mercedes? He's far from being overshadowed by Schuey (quite the oppostite in fact), is probably learning plenty from him and, given the contracts already in place at the other top teams, where else would he go? Throw in the fact that he's a German driving for a very German team and it seems a good fit.
