Introduction to Ginetta Motorsport

As a car/motorsport fanatic I am wanting to become closer involved in motorsport in my free/spare time outside of my day job and am wondering if there may be an opportunity for me to help out a motorsport team on a voluntary basis at some of the future Ginetta race meetings, either for the few remaining ones of 2010 or for 2011.
As background, I'm a 29 yr old Aerospace/Systems Engineer graduate based in Leeds, and worked for BAE Systems as an Engineer for some time before moving into a commercial role within the Renewable Energy industry.
Whilst I appreciate this may be a strange request I thought it would be a fantastic opportunity to be formally introduced to motorsport with a race team where I can offer my help/services (purely as a dogs-body if necessary) to the team for free as it's something I have a genuine passion for.
